ARDF Additional "Runtime" explanation file:

Included with this data release is a runtime application of the FileMaker Pro database table. This application, which only functions under the Windows operating system, is provided as a zipped directory which contains the database tables and the necessary files to provide much of the functionality of the FileMaker Pro software. To use this application, unzip the supplied zip file, which will create a folder (directory) containing needed files. Within that folder will be a file named RunARDF.exe. Double click on this file to start the runtime application. ARDF is presented in multiple views or layouts; the initial "Home" layout shows basic data about the records. Bottoms at the bottom change the layout to "Geology" (geologic information about the record), "Production" (production and reserves and resources information), or "References" (a complete list of the references used to create the record). The database tables can be scrolled by clicking on the arrow symbol in the upper left corner. Searches can be made by selecting the "Find Mode", either found under the "View" tab or clicking on "Find" in the ribbon and typing the desired search item in the appropriate field on the Find screen and clicking "Perform find". Records can be sorted on any or multiple fields though the "Sort" option in the ribbon. Both find and sort can operate on fields in multiple views of the database. Just below the ribbon at the top is a secondary ribbon containing additional options. The "Layout" item allows the layout to be changed, one that may useful (accessed through a button) is the "Basic layout" which shows all fields of a given record. The "View As" item allows you to change the view to a more spreadsheet like table view. A complete explanation of the software is not appropriate here, but experimentation will reveal many capabilities.
